Erica Sawers, DC, RD
A chiropractic patient with a passion for health and nutrition for over 15 years, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2000 and successfully completed a dietetic internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan. I have since graduated from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic, magna cum laude. I am licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and by the States of Connecticut and New York I hold certifications in Graston Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Webster chiropractic technique for pregnant women, and Active Release Techniques ( ART®). ART, nutrition, and functional rehabilitation seminars have provided me with continuing education that has enhanced my perspective to improve patient care.
I am a District Director for the Connecticut Chiropractic Association and an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and Sports Chiropractors of New York. I enjoy yoga, pilates, biking and hiking in my spare time and am blessed with a wonderful husband and two children. |
